Is there a 3.8% real estate “sales tax” created in health care bill?

No. There is neither a real estate “sales tax” nor a real estate transfer tax under any federal law. The Internet has generated several viral items describing such a tax. Those Internet postings are totally false. The 2010 health care legislation did create a new 3.8% tax, but it applies only to a limited group of taxpayers.   Get the scoop here on the new tax

Kristen was absolutely top notch. Her home evaluation was comprehensive and very detailed. Her knowledge of the Process of listing the house was exceptional but more importantly she thoroughly understood all the steps from recieving an offer through the final closing. She kept us informed at every juncture. Let her do the negotiating and take her advice during this emotional roller coaster. She knows how to play hard ball so be prepared but trust her. She knows when its time to give a little. Her video and voiceover were fabulous. Tons of great feedback. Proof is in the pudding. She sold our house in two days on the market for more than we were expecting. A+++++++++ and we could not thank Kristen enough.

The experience we had with Kristen was great! She was extremely thorough and delivered as she promised. She will ensure every i is dotted and every t is crossed. If you want a Realtor to list your house with the best pictures and best video and great negotiation skills, then use Kristen Wheatley, you won’t regret it! Just listen to what she recommends and your house will sell!!!

While home buyers are realizing that we have now past the bottom of the market dip, interest rates are still at historic lows. This is enabling them to buy more house than in years past. Rates have started to increase, but are not expected to jump, so buyers are still in an excellent position. Be sure to check out the mortgage calculator in our sidebar.
